Interceptive Orthodontics

The recommendation from the American Association of Orthodontics is that children should have an orthodontic evaluation by age 7. Interceptive orthodontics is early intervention with a first phase of treatment in the growth years of childhood. Staging orthodontics can be helpful for both immediate dental concerns and optimizing tooth and jaw placement in the future.
